Patel Eye Care & Laser Center is a 10 bedded hospital, which is constructed in an area of 1500 sq ft. This 10 bedded hospital is having special and semi-special rooms with all sort of in-house facilities like attached toilets, intercoms, TV sets and music systems with smooth listening as an entertainment part for patients.

Patel Eye Care & Laser Centre is fully equipped with the state of art instruments imported from Japan, Germany, Australia, Switzerland & USA to carry out various ophthalmic surgeries. The first of its kind in Kutch, Patel Eye Care & Laser Centre is the enterprise of Dr. Magan Patel and his team of ophthalmic assistants. this centre has been functioning since January '96 in Bhuj and is dedicated to provide the best ophthalmic care to the general public with special emphasis in the field of advanced cataract and vitreous surgeries.
We can say it as a complete private ophthalmic health care centre. We are ready to provide all kinds of mentioned facilities to the patients from each and every class of socio - economical status and we also welcome those patients who are not able to afford the modern advantages offered.

The centre has also specialized in the latest technique of Phacoemulsification with the use of foldable intraocular lens. This procedure is done under topical anesthesia.

Dr. Magan Patel graduated in M.S. in Opthalmology from M. P. Shah Medical College in the year 1995. He has mastered Extra Capsular Cataract Surgery and performed innumerable surgeries through this technique from 1992 till today. In November 2001 he went for further training to Dr. P. N. Nagpal in post segment surgeries. In April 2002 he had been to Australia for training under guidance of Dr. Michael in Phacoemulsification technique in cataract with intraocular implant surgery. In August 2003 he also went to Israel for further training in Phocoemul - Sification under A/c maintainer from Prof. Michael Blumenthal. He also achieved trainings in small incision non-phaco, cataract surgery from Dr. Globensi of Israel and latest technique of sutured fixated intraocular lens implants. He attended many ESCRS conferences in Germany, London, France, Swedon In 2008 April he want to Hong kong for world ophthalmology congress.
